[wa0299] [Sakuma Samata memorial and push-car trolley] [wa0299] [Sakuma Samata memorial and push-car trolley]490 Land Transport; 497 Rail Transport; 493 VehiclesTrolleys were the basic vehicle of transportation in remote areas in Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty. Trolley tracks in Taiwan were single-laned, so when two trolleys came upon each other, the pushers would adroitly exchange trolleys. It was quite a performance.
